Companies Driving Impact in 2024

Real Leaders’ Impact Awards shine a light on organizations that in many cases are smaller and less frequently covered in traditional media.

Whether you work in the impact space or you’re a consumer with a personal interest in brands doing good, I bet there are a few big organizations that come to mind when you think of “companies driving impact.”

Plenty of household name brands have built out robust CSR programs and now regularly share their impact through their marketing and communications. And that’s wonderful; corporate impact has grown to be a central part of our cultural zeitgeist, which was not the case a few years ago.

But what about the orgs you haven’t heard so much about?

What I love about Real Leaders’ Impact Awards is that it shines a light on organizations that in many cases are smaller and less frequently covered in traditional media. These are companies making impact in everything from water management and life science to beauty and sustainable branding, and it’s fantastic that Real Leaders gives them their flowers in its annual awards issue.

Platypus Advisors does happen to be on this year’s list : D and we’re so proud. But I encourage you to check out some of the companies Real Leaders is spotlighting that you might not be familiar with, such as:

  • Banyan Water, whose cloud-based software helps their customers achieve more efficient water use.

  • eLeapPower, whose technologies make EVs cheaper, greener, and faster to charge.

  • Superpower Mentors, an online mentorship platform empowering students with dyslexia and ADHD to successfully navigate neurotypical environments.

You can see the full Impact Awards list here. (Yes, that is Pharrell Williams on the cover of the magazine. How cool is that?!)

Along with the inspiration we’ve gleaned from our fellow awardees, making this list gets us even more fired up about driving change with our partners in 2024.

Thank you, Real Leaders!
